Hi I’m Mark McShane a full-time gas engineer and entrepreneur. My passion is to help advance renewable energy solutions in the UK, especially boiler cover solutions. I own Skills Training Group the UK’s leading heating training provider and committed to raising standards and expertise in the industry.

My Qualifications

I started in the gas engineering field where I gained my skills and qualifications. This foundation knowledge gave me a deep understanding of energy systems and was the stepping stone to moving into renewable technologies.

My Experience

I saw a gap in the market for skilled technicians in the heating industry so I founded Skills Training Group a training group that specialises in producing top class professionals in the heating industry. We are the UK’s number one heating training provider and we offer a mix of practical and theoretical training, our course is uniquely well rounded and respected. We don’t just train individuals we enlighten them and turn them into pioneers in sustainable energy solutions.

Boiler Cover Solutions

As well as my training I have developed a digital platform to bridge the gap between homeowners looking for boiler cover solutions and local companies that offer these services. The platform uses advanced algorithms and is user friendly, it’s a one stop shop for all boiler cover needs.
